An unusual project: the old outdoor swimming pool in Näfels is being turned into a beach volleyball court. The surroundings of the outdoor facility are being renovated and the lawn reseeded. New hedges, shrubs and avenue trees will transform the ageing swimming area into a modern sports facility. However, the new visual connections still allow a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, so that the facility is sure to become a popular meeting place. The new seating areas offer the opportunity for breaks or a nice picnic.
