This detached house garden in the Zurich Oberland is being redesigned and equipped with a natural pool at the same time. The anthracite-colored and custom-made PP prefabricated pool shortens the construction time and the water shimmers in a fresh blue. A gravel seating area and a planted embankment are replaced by a swimming pool with a wooden deck. Over time, the warm material blends in with the existing wooden deck on the house and the house façade, creating a smooth transition from the seating area to the water. The slope to the road is concealed by a deciduous hornbeam hedge, providing privacy around the pool.
Naturally purified water
Thanks to the tried-and-tested Living Pool technology, the water is purified naturally and remains clean and clear. Visually, a natural pool like this is no different from a classic chlorine pool, but the intelligent filter system removes phosphate, which is vital for algae, from the water and therefore remains clear and algae-free. A counter-current system has also been installed in this natural pool, which enables extended swimming training even in smaller pools.
