Design of a rockery, Lake Zurich region

Do you like the blog? Let us know.

This private garden in the Lake Zurich region is being transformed into an attractive and low-maintenance rock garden. The plain meadow gives way to a gravel area made of light-colored Jura limestone, which is broken up by stepping slabs and is easy to walk on. At the end of the gravel area, there is space for a whirlpool in a natural setting. Individual design stones blend charmingly into the garden design and create interesting accents. Adjacent to the gravel area is a cozy lounge area where you can relax and enjoy yourself. The entire garden area is bordered by an evergreen hedge, which provides the desired privacy. An existing red maple tree remains in place and further emphasizes the special ambience in this low-maintenance rock garden.
