We train apprentices in gardening and landscaping. As one of the largest horticultural companies in Switzerland, you will learn about all facets of horticulture during your apprenticeship with us: Large gardens, small gardens, garden maintenance, new plants and much more. We support you in learning the plants and the school curriculum and offer internal courses especially for our apprentices.

What you should know about an apprenticeship as a gardener
These are the most frequently asked questions about an apprenticeship as a gardener EFZ. Would you like further questions answered? Contact us and we will be happy to answer any further questions in person.
The apprenticeship to become a gardener with a Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ) takes 3 years. The apprenticeship to become a gardener with a federal vocational certificate (EBA) takes 2 years.
You visit during one day a week school and learn all the theoretical basics for the job.
You will also regularly attend inter-company courses (ÜK), which take place around two to four times a year.
There is the opportunity to remain part of the team after successfully completing your apprenticeship. We are always happy to welcome talented young people from within the company.
After your apprenticeship, you will have a broad range of specialist knowledge and be familiar with the various tasks involved in gardening. You can pursue your passion with us, whether in new construction, pool construction or maintenance.
We will also be happy to support you in your further career as a foreman, foreman or site manager. You also have the opportunity to continue your training during your employment with us. At Jardin Suisse you will find all Training and further education in the green sector.
It's more important to us that you enjoy your job, that you think for yourself and can get stuck in. That's why your grades are secondary. In return, you can test yourself during a five-day Taster apprenticeship prove yourself before you apply for the apprenticeship. We look forward to meeting you!
Our vocational trainer Stefan Fiorili will be at your side throughout your apprenticeship. You will also be accompanied and trained by the foremen on the construction sites and gardens. You can look forward to good support with varied work!
It is important to us that you enjoy your job and are happy to help out. That's why we will accept your application after a five-day taster programme with pleasure. You can register for a taster apprenticeship here. These five days will give us a better idea of your skills and whether you are a good fit for us - regardless of your grades.
