Playgrounds Strandbad Stampf, Rapperswil-Jona

Do you like the blog? Please let us know.

It's getting adventurous for visitors to Strandbadi Stampf in Rapperswil-Jona: while it's still too cold for swimming, the play area on the sunbathing lawn is being expanded. The previous playground is giving way to an adventure park with a pirate ship. From here, children can look out over the lake and let their imaginations run wild.

In addition, a second area with a large sandpit and hammocks will be created, which are always a highlight for the little ones. As excavators are the main attraction for spectators on our construction sites, two smaller ones will also be placed in the sandpit. Who knows, maybe our next machinists will already be practising there... And while the children play, parents can watch from two newly placed benches and enjoy their time outdoors too.

We work directly on the lake for two weeks before the wood and decking are installed. We follow the renovation in our stories on Instagram and Facebook.

Safety is taken care of

The round gravel gives way to a seamless blue mulch fall protection in which the pirate ship will float. The construction of the playground is being managed by our playground safety expert Patrick Fux. Our head of garden maintenance carries out main inspections and is our expert in playground safety. On our new page you will find a guide price calculator for such an inspection.

It's done: the new play area at Badi Stampf is finished and has been successfully handed over. The town of Rapperswil-Jona had previously been looking for a name for the new pirate ship. From all the submissions, they decided on "Stampfi".

The playground was tested by the first children just 10 minutes after completion. The kids particularly liked the blue fall protection, as it is very soft and almost feels like walking on a soft mattress. The hammocks were not only used by the children, but also by their parents, and their colors perfectly match the two benches behind the new sandpit.

Thanks to the particularly careful treatment of the grass during the construction phase, the play area is already surrounded by lush greenery.
