This small area in front of the charming house with playful windows should also be better utilised. The lawn had had its day and a swimming pool was to be created in front of the living room. However, the client was not sure whether their garden would fulfil the requirements for a swimming pool.

The feasibility of the project was analysed and checked in detail during the planning phase. The client's wish was to have as large a bathing area as possible. To achieve this, the retaining wall in particular had to be analysed in detail.

New mix of materials and optimum utilisation of the garden area

A generous planting strip was planned around the extension. The large windows give the impression that the living space is in the middle of nature. The grasses and solitary trees give the extension a bungalow-like atmosphere. In the evening, the living room light falls gently on the grasses, visually extending the interior to the outside and thus enlarging it. The illuminated lounge area in the centre of the garden makes the surrounding buildings almost disappear into the darkness. The treetops also form a beautiful canopy of leaves, which not only helps to create space, but also provides additional privacy. This creates a harmonious overall picture.
