The spacious residential development in Rapperswil-Jona has been given a versatile landscape design, which is particularly impressive due to its cosy yet modern residential character. The buildings, which have asphalted access roads, are separated from each other by a quiet neighbourhood street. Towards the street, hedges provide a natural boundary for the development. While green spaces around the buildings ensure openness, individual trees and shrubs provide eye-catching features and structure.
At the centre of the residential development are the gravelled areas, which are framed by a green hedge. Various play equipment and a climbing course make the playgrounds a meeting place for the whole neighbourhood. There are several tables with benches throughout the site, allowing people to sit together outside their own four walls.
