Since the week before last, the children at the Dorf primary school have been on their well-deserved summer holidays. Shortly beforehand, we started work on the surrounding area. A new climbing frame was erected on the playground, which takes the pupils up to almost the same height as the iconic giant. From there, they can enjoy the view and then safely return to the ground on the curved slide.

Shady spots for cosy breaks
Slabs were laid next to the playground and a protective pergola now towers over them. With the new tables and benches, the schoolchildren can enjoy their snack in a shady spot during the 10 o'clock break. Additional seating has also been created next to the pond, which is located between the municipal administration and the school. Here, a few solitary trees liven up the ambience, while the pupils spend their time on the benches all around.
The hedge around the area will be added at a later date to provide more privacy. The empty, round elements will be planted with trees in autumn so that they can grow under optimal conditions and the children can enjoy them for a long time.
