This modern detached house in the Zurich Oberland offers a retreat by the water after the garden has been remodelled. Three different areas have been created on the spacious plot.

Mediterranean design with the Biodesign pool
The terrace area adjoins the living room and extends the living and dining area outside. The matching seating lounge emphasises the Mediterranean design and is framed by a wooden screen, creating a sense of space. The Biodesign-Pool in the front area forms the centre of the newly designed garden. The individual and soft design as well as the sandy beach look are unique in pool construction, allowing the Biodesign pool to be perfectly embedded in the garden. The flowing transitions from the wooden deck to the pool area create a wonderful overall look.
Space creation for young and old
The spacious lawn at the side of the house has been retained and broken up by a small gravelled area. Under the roof plane tree there is seating around the fire bowl with barbecue function. The various elements have created a garden that offers space for children to play and splash around and provides space for adults to relax. The day can be rounded off together in the dining area.
A little piece of the sea in your own garden
At the centre of the garden design is the newly built Biodesign pool, which impresses with its unique design. Thanks to its free-form design, it fits into any niche in the garden and can be designed with more or less shallow water zones. The family opted for a larger shallow water zone with numerous jets, which then merges into the swimming area where the water turns turquoise. The round shapes are framed by the colourful planting strip of various shrubs and grasses. This draws the eye to the planting, so that the garden border recedes into the background.
The free design of the Biodesign pool has created a unique and individual pool in this garden. The shallow water zones mean that the water warms up more quickly and nothing stands in the way of a swim on a warm autumn day.

Planting in the garden
The love of nature is impressively reflected in the choice of plants in this garden: Fruit trees and berry bushes transform the rear area around the barbecue area into a small kitchen garden. Around the pool, flowering shrubs bring colour to the garden during the warm season and also create interesting eye-catchers, while simple grasses provide softness.
