A small area is by no means a limitation in garden and pool construction. Well thought-out planning, optimum use of the available space and suitable planting will transform any garden into a magical place.
Framed retreat
This small area in front of the charming house with playful windows should also be put to better use. The lawn had had its day and a swimming pool was to be created in front of the living room. However, the client was not sure whether their garden met the requirements for a swimming pool.
The feasibility of the project was examined in detail during the planning phase. The client's wish was to have as large a bathing area as possible. To achieve this, the retaining wall in particular had to be analyzed in detail.
New mix of materials and optimal use of the garden area
A generous planting strip was planned around the extension. The large windows give the impression that the living space is in the middle of nature. The grasses and solitary trees give the extension a bungalow-like atmosphere. In the evening, the living room light falls gently on the grasses, visually extending the interior to the outside and thus enlarging it. The illuminated lounge area in the center of the garden makes the surrounding buildings almost disappear into the darkness. The treetops also form a beautiful canopy of leaves, which not only helps to create space, but also provides additional privacy. This creates a harmonious overall picture.
