A change that can be seen
The change in the family garden is very impressive and clearly visible. Where wild shrubs dominated before, there is now an open area with a lounge. The garden has been significantly enlarged on both levels.
The garden before and after the redesign
Impressive result
The family garden has undergone a great change. In the past, both levels were full of wild shrubs, so the space was limited. The goal was to create more space and make it optimal. The newly gained space and the resulting rooms are the highlights of the redesign of this family garden. A new view of the surroundings and the surrounding mountains opens up. At the same time, the new planting ensures privacy.
An outdoor living and dining room
On the upper level there was a wild planting, which was removed and completely redesigned. The previously unused space was also enlarged with a wooden deck. The elevation of the wooden deck creates yet another level, so that not only more space is generated, but more excitement flows into the design of the different areas.
The plantings on all sides create a gentle border, creating an open overall look. On the lounge, you can enjoy the beautiful flowering plants that bring a nice play of color to this area. The view sweeps over to the front area of the upper level, where a dining table including a fire bowl is located. The fire pit not only provides grilling fun but also a wonderful warm ambiance, especially on colder evenings.
In addition to the barbecue anticipation, the family can also enjoy homegrown herbs and fruits, because a generous kitchen garden has been planted behind the family home. There is nothing lacking: from berry bushes to various herbs such as rosemary, sage, thyme, lemon balm and oregano, the kitchen garden offers many future taste explosions.
Impressions of the family garden in summer
The garden is versatile not only thanks to the varied planting, but also thanks to the versatile and coherent material concept. A special design element here are the impressive natural stone walls, which run through all levels. The beautiful walls lead through the different areas and levels. On the lower level, the large natural stone wall in front of the staircase immediately catches the eye. In summer as well as in autumn this area captivates with a great flowering splendor thanks to the surrounded panicle hydrangeas. The connection of the two floors looks fluid and dreamy.
Splendid autumn
While lush green grasses and eye-catching purple and white flowers adorn the family garden in summer, autumn shines with the beautiful magnificent panicle hydrangeas. The family garden transforms into a fairy-tale place. The colors become calmer in autumn without the garden losing its charm.
A planting concept for every season
The generous planting concept offers a beautiful sea of flowers at any time of the year. Various harmonious colors always give the family garden an impressive look. In addition, some large plants provide a little shade to the garden. Due to the different flowering times of the plants, the garden changes again and again during the year. Especially with the high stone wall a change is noticeable (hydrangeas), see for yourself:
