This large garden borders a large meadow directly on the lake. However, as there is no direct access to the lake here, the element of water became the central theme in the garden. The garden is located above an underground car park, which is why the desired infinity pool could not be built into the ground as is usually the case. The design therefore had to be vertical, in such a way that the load capacity was not exceeded and the pool blended harmoniously with the surroundings, creating a coherent overall picture.
The garden before and after the remodelling
Different heights
From the building's seating area, the view sweeps across the manicured lawn to the newly created level, which has become a real design highlight. Surrounded by a sea of flowers, the outdoor living room rises up with an infinity pool. The various terraces are the central design element. The elevated position opens up a new view of the lake, which can be enjoyed from the lounge as well as from the raised swimming pool. A sun deck has also been added to the infinity pool to create another sunbathing and seating area.
The three maples were sunk into the wooden deck and are illuminated at night. They not only serve as privacy screens, but also help to create space. The skilful placement of the planting and the wide view create different visual relationships that make the garden appear open and exciting. The colour contrasts between the greyed wood, the fragrant lavender, the maple and the bright blue water continue to create a harmonious effect. The overall picture is acoustically emphasised by the splashing of the pool's overflow channel.
The uninterrupted view into the distance
Thanks to the overflow edge, the infinity pool opens up to the surrounding countryside. While swimming, you can look directly towards the lake and enjoy the beautiful view while bathing. This endless effect is created by the special pool edge, over which the water flows directly down into the channel.
From the very beginning, water was the element that customers wanted to incorporate into the garden. However, no chemicals were to be used, which is why the Living Pool Technology was required for this garden remodelling. This filter technology is particularly popular as no chlorine is required for water treatment and the bathing water is therefore naturally pure and gentle on the skin and the environment.
Planting around the infinity pool
The Living Pool has been generously planted with plants. Thanks to the varied plants, the infinity pool looks like a floating sea of flowers. The exclusive planters on the wooden deck are from Studio Vierkant, which are available from our partner Amadeo Ambiente are available.
