The kindergarten in the southern neighbourhood has a large outdoor area where the children love to play and let off steam. However, the outdated play equipment and rudimentary play areas are getting on in years. The new landscaping of the kindergarten utilises the full potential of the open space in the fresh air.
New planting creates new visual relationships and provides shade. This creates a new sense of space, even in the open air. The outdoor area appears more sheltered and natural, while maintaining an extensive area for movement. A hedge and a total of eight tall plane trees border the play area. Behind them is a low concrete wall, which can also be used as an excellent seating area and also serves as a boundary for the play area.
New play equipment for the little ones
The new wooden play equipment has a rustic and natural look, complies with the latest safety regulations and allows children to go on a journey of discovery. A nest swing and a balancing course breathe new life into the outdoor area.
