While the children play on the spacious lawn, parents can enjoy their time in and around the Living Pool. Various plants provide the necessary privacy and make everyday life a distant memory.
The garden before and after
A feeling of freedom in your own garden
The family wanted plenty of space so that the children could let off steam. For this reason, the planting was kept to a small scale. The expansive lawn area conveys a sense of freedom, which is particularly relaxing on busy working days.
The privacy screen was a particularly important concern. This should serve both to separate from the neighbourhood and to ensure the necessary privacy when playing and relaxing. Thanks to the unobstructed view within the garden, parents can keep an eye on their children at all times.
A Living Pool for movement and relaxation
The garden received a great addition for the whole family in the form of a pool. The prefabricated pool was lifted into its rightful place using a crane. The pool was also fitted with the Living Pool Technology equipped. The biofilter water treatment is extremely gentle and gives swimming the feeling of a refreshing mountain lake.
However, it is not just the water treatment that is a highlight of the Living Pool, but also the built-in counter-current system. It integrates exercise, sport and fun into the garden without compromising on aesthetics or space. The strength of the current can be controlled via an app. As soon as the workout in your own swimming pool is over, you can use it again to relax and let the children splash around.
Shady seating for the summer
The wooden bench extends from one end of the Living Pool. This also conceals the technology for the water treatment system. At the same time, you can relax and read a book under the parasol and the foliage of the Japanese fan maple. The colour of the wooden deck matches the slabs leading into the house. They also have the advantage of heating up less on hot summer days.
There is a spacious pavilion on the other side of the garden. This is where the family likes to enjoy lunch or dinner together. At the same time, the proximity to the water in the Living Pool provides a little bit of a Mediterranean holiday feeling.
Easy-care lightness with the planting
Loose planting creates a gentle transition from the privacy screen to the lawn. The different types of hydrangea are particularly eye-catching. The panicle and snowball hydrangeas bloom at different times, creating a smooth transition to the garden.
Lavender has also been planted. The long stems with the blue-violet flowers exude a beguiling fragrance in summer. At the same time, the semi-shrub provides a wonderful contrast to the hydrangeas. Especially in combination with the Living Pool, it enhances the Mediterranean feeling in your own garden.
More time for yourself and the family: technology for the garden
Technology can save a lot of time, especially in the garden. For this reason, we rely on GardenTec as experts in this area. Two robot mowers maintain the extensive lawn in the upper part of the house and around the Living Pool. This means that the lawn is always the perfect length for an exciting game of football with the children.
At the same time, irrigation systems were installed in three sectors. The grass can suffer from the constant sunlight, especially in summer. The irrigation system can be programmed on the wall of the house, saving a lot of time. This allows the family to enjoy their time together to the full and relax.
