For some years now, we have been foregoing Christmas presents for our customers. In return, we support a selected social project in the region. Following the submissions, we have decided on a main project.
A new forest sofa
Last year, the kindergarten spent several days creating a beautiful forest sofa with the help of the Year 5 class at Busskirch school and the local forester. The area in the forest is open to the public and is not only used by various schools in the neighbourhood, but also by many families. After a few weeks, however, the forest sofa was unfortunately vandalised. «The disappointment among the children and their parents was huge,» says the class teacher.
That's why we decided to help with the reconstruction and this great sofa. We are really looking forward to giving the kids and families from the region a new, natural place for little adventures soon!
The official handover was already planned, but unfortunately the lockdown got in the way. Now that the lockdown has eased, the Busskirch kindergarten held its first forest day on Tuesday, 23 June 2020 and we visited the kids and officially handed over the sofa.
