We are modernising the school complex of the Hofacker upper school in Zurich. The children's everyday school life poses a major challenge. The modernisation is taking place during normal lesson times. This means that our team has to be particularly careful not to disturb the classes when it comes to material deliveries and noise.
The next school year in a new environment
The area surrounding the Hofacker school building has been completed. The pupils now have the opportunity to exercise and play extensively during the breaks and after school.
New seating and tables have been installed in shady spots so that the children can also enjoy their snacks in summer. In addition, the children were given new play equipment on which they can explore their surroundings from a bird's eye view. They can then use the slide to return safely to the ground. They can now also play basketball and football on the spacious sports field and burn off their excess energy. Table tennis tables have also been distributed throughout the grounds, which can be used to play together.
The entire site is rounded off by the planting. An evergreen hedge stretches across almost half of the school grounds and blends harmoniously into the overall picture. It provides visual protection and privacy. The large lawn has been freshly sown and is already thriving. As soon as the pupils return from their summer holidays, they can look forward to exploring their new surroundings.
