In the family, biking and hiking paradise of Flums, new rental flats and maisonettes will be built in four phases in 2022/2023. We are realising the relaxing green space including a swimming pool, exercise, recreation and meeting areas, playgrounds and various gardens.
The new residential development
A central focus of the development is the connection to nature and the surrounding area. When realising the green space, care is therefore taken to ensure that recreational opportunities are also directly integrated into the development. From native fruit trees and boulders to a 200 square metre chemical-free pool and associated sunbathing lawn: The redesigned surroundings focus on relaxation. In addition to the large chemical-free natural pool, there is also a fun pool for the little ones and a spacious nature zone.
The natural zone is planted with a wide variety of aquatic plants. These include grasses such as white-striped calamus and water flowers such as Siberian iris and brook lily. The bathing area is not just a visual highlight. They also improve the quality of life in the neighbourhood.
The future fun pool will be surrounded by a spacious sunbathing lawn. The planned awnings over the children's pool and the planned solitary trees on the sunbathing lawn, including species such as field maple, crab apple, Scots pine and small-leaved lime, will provide protection from the sun in high summer.
Naturalness throughout the housing estate
The construction work in Flums is slowly coming to an end. The first plants and shrubs are already in bloom, adding a splash of colour to the development. The little ones can also let off steam in the various playgrounds and explore the neighbourhood. From slides to climbing facilities, children can let off all their energy on the doorstep. At the same time, they can train their motor skills in a playful way.
The spacious pool is already in place and is looking forward to welcoming the many people soon. Due to the Living Pool Technology the water is gentle on skin and eyes.
The lawn area by the pool is currently being extended so that everyone can find a cosy place to sunbathe. So nothing stands in the way of a fantastic summer in the bathing paradise.
