Among many very nice projects, we were able to choose another Christmas present. For years, we have been foregoing Christmas presents for customers in favour of supporting a charitable project. This year, we received an application in the form of a video that convinced us.
First visit to the Narr farm - the life farm in Egg
We met in Egg on the Hof Narr with Sarah, who took us through all the animal habitats. Here she showed us the pond, which is not optimally placed. The seven ducks are to be given a new habitat. We are immediately combining the repositioning with the redesign of the pond.
After visiting the pond, we were given a tour of the farm, where we were greeted by turkeys, goats, pigs, horses and chickens. A very exciting tour with lots of information. Christian and Daniel Egli will now discuss the realisation. We are very much looking forward to the project!

What a start: the first snowy day of the new year! On arrival at Hof Narr, we were warmly welcomed and the group was given a tour of the farm. The passages with the excavator were discussed in detail so that no animals escaped or were stressed. We searched in vain for shy animals on the farm: the chickens immediately pecked away in the drained pond, greeted our team and made themselves comfortable on the motorised cage.
After one day, the old pond was drained and filled in. The excavation in front of the house was also ready after just one day so that the liner could be placed on day two. Meanwhile, the foreman selected a suitable tree for the ducks in the tree nursery.
Status 22.01.2021
After having to take a break due to the snow, we have resumed work this week. The soakaway in front of the pond is now ready. The turkeys are keeping a close eye on our team on site!

We have successfully completed our Christmas project. Unfortunately, we are not yet allowed to celebrate the handover, but we will do so as soon as possible! A wonderful place with great people and animals. Definitely worth a visit!
Official handover of the duck pond to Hof Narr
We were invited to the farm for the official handover and were able to enjoy a private tour. We were excited to learn more about the keeping of bees, goats, pigs, cows, horses, chickens and, of course, ducks. The tour took place on a small scale and we are looking forward to perhaps organising a team outing to the farm in the summer.
