Thanks to the redesign of this garden, the full area of the garden can be utilised. The result is a cosy family garden that extends the interior of the house in Belgian-English style into the outdoor living space. Although the garden has a very modern design, it has a cosy, warm and relaxed feel.
The garden before & after
Modern, cosy mix of materials
The different materials create a harmonious division in this garden with a long, narrow layout. A lounge area at one end of the garden and one at the other with a piece of lawn in between and the small, decorative details create a cosy atmosphere.
The spatial division was solved with a slight nesting, which at the same time looks very tidy. The existing waterspout was fitted with a new basin and is perfectly emphasised by the new space in the garden. The planting frames the garden to the left and right and gives the clear lines a soft touch. The Belgian-English style is also emphasised by the deliberate choice of plants.
Privacy through new visual relationships
A privacy screen does not always have to consist of a wall or shrubs. The article from Traumhaus describes exactly how privacy was created in this garden.
