Construction of a living pool with overflow edge, See-Gaster region

Do you like the blog? Please let us know.

This spacious detached house garden in the See-Gaster region is being redesigned and equipped with a living pool at the same time. Where a green lawn used to dominate, an extensive swimming paradise is now being created. The special thing about it is that the pool is being built as an overflow pool. In this pool, the water flows over the edge, which is created with great precision. In the end, the water surface is flush with the future wooden deck. Soon the kids can look forward to splashing around!

The family garden consists of two levels, on the upper level there is a cozy seating area that invites you to linger. The transition from the seating area to the bathing paradise (lower level) consists of stone slabs and a simple staircase, also made of stone. We will continue to document this project with pictures and we are already looking forward to the final result.

This garden is one of our highlights and has been added to our references. Here you can find more photos of the finished garden.

Chemical-free bathing

What exactly is a Living Pool? It is a natural pool with natural water treatment. Thanks to the Living Pool technology the water always stays clean and fresh and is gentle on the skin. The water is purified with a two-chamber filter system: Phosphate, which is vital for algae, is removed from the water with the phosphate filter, keeping it clear and algae-free. The biofilter cleans the water biologically, without chemical additives as would be the case with chlorine, for example. Thanks to Living Pool technology, chemical-free bathing is possible. Visually, a Living Pool is no different from a classic chlorine pool.
