As the year draws to a close, we look back and review the past few months. Once again this year, we at egli jona ag had the pleasure of realising exciting projects and capturing them in pictures.

Bee bushes for more biodiversity
Our Christmas present 2023 was different this time than in previous years: We gave away bee-friendly shrubs to protect and preserve local biodiversity. Both our newsletter subscribers and our customers were able to reserve one of these shrubs in advance and pick it up later at the plant show. In this way, not only the region but also the busy bees benefit from this sustainable campaign.
Exciting videos from the world of garden design
The world of horticulture is incredibly diverse. To show this diversity, we regularly produce explanatory videos with our managing directors Christian and Daniel Egli. With their many years of experience, they answer initial questions and provide useful tips. This allows our customers to familiarise themselves with the desired topic before the first consultation and bring them a step closer to their personal wellness oasis.
New inspiration from our references
This year we were able to present a total of eleven new reference gardens. Each outdoor space is unique and impresses with its harmonious overall appearance in the midst of its own surroundings. In addition to various Living Pools, we were also able to realise a new Biodesign pool, a terrace and a residential development.
These reference projects serve as sources of inspiration and show the design possibilities for outdoor areas. This allows you to visualise your own ideas in advance.
The redesign from the customer's perspective
A special highlight this year was the interview with Mrs Lienhart, who gave us an exclusive insight into the Garden design from the customer's point of view. She talks about the redesign of her garden and reveals what added value the family enjoys from the redesign and where they prefer to relax.
Major construction sites in Rapperswil-Jona
We are always delighted when we are able to realise Rapperswil-Jona projects for the city. This year, too, there were two major construction sites that were a personal highlight for us.
Last year, we began our work on the Grünfelspark in Rapperswil-Jona. The opening took place in late summer this year - with great offers for the whole family. In addition to a variety of play equipment, a spacious lawn invites children to let off steam and the little ones can splash around in the fountain.
One project that we particularly enjoy is the design of the Lock Rapperswil. High on the hill, the castle towers over the city and the focus of the redesign is the inner courtyard. Curved paths and new planting create a green oasis in the centre of the old town.
30 years of partnership
Long-term partnerships and trusting cooperation are the cornerstones of our success. For this reason, we are delighted to have been chosen by Biotop for our Living Pools. Partnership of 30 years have been honoured. We are convinced that this long-term and personal co-operation leads to a particularly pleasing result for our customers.
Into a new year full of exciting projects
The year 2025 will soon begin and we are already looking forward to the new projects and reference gardens that lie ahead of us. Of course, we will continue to take you with us on our journey in the coming year. Until then, we wish you happy holidays and a happy new year.
