Magaziner with a talent for organisation
This time we were travelling with Martin. He is our storekeeper and, together with Ruedi, ensures that the right machines and tools are available on the construction sites at the right time. As the storekeeper, Martin always has an overview of our construction sites and the materials used there. A large fleet of machinery and the many construction sites and work groups that are out and about every day make the work of a storekeeper very varied. That's why a structured way of working is essential for a smooth workflow, not only for the warehouse on site, but also for the work on the construction sites.
In the morning, Martin checks the material returned the previous evening and prepares it for the next job. As not every job can be planned precisely in advance, flexibility is of course particularly important. Our groups can therefore order material directly from him one day in advance, which Martin then makes available so that the groups only have to load the material. This is another reason why tidiness in the warehouse is so important.
