Daniel Egli: Best team ever
Christian Egli: versatile, hard-working, helpful
What do you do in your free time?
Daniel Egli: In my free time, I spend most of my time travelling with my family and my sons, and if I have any free time left, I ride my Harley.
Christian Egli: In my spare time, I do youth work and I coach an ice hockey team.
What do you like most about your work?
Daniel Egli: That's clear, seeing the customer's beaming face at a pool handover. That's a highlight.
Christian Egli: I love the quiet mornings when I get to work, I really enjoy that.
What makes a beautiful garden?
Christian Egli: If you can pack a customer need into an aesthetic framework.
What else would you like to build?
Daniel Egli: An indoor Living Pool.
Christian Egli: I've always wanted to build an animal enclosure, and we were allowed to do so at Zurich Zoo in 2018. We were allowed to build the Australia enclosure. The hook is actually set, I can actually stop (laughs).
Pool or lake?
Daniel Egli: I don't have to choose, I can have everything in both with a Living Pool.
Christian Egli: See, sorry (laughs).
How do we differ from other horticulturalists?
Daniel Egli: Basically, we are a horticultural company, but we clearly differ in many small points where we simply give more.
Christian Egli: Because we are well organised, we offer the best possible service.

Daniel Egli (adds): Yes, and who likes to do nice things with us.
And how are you two different?
Daniel Egli: That's a very simple question, I love the element of water and love building and Christian likes it less (Christian laughs and agrees). That's what makes us so successful, we're two brothers, we always have the same goal, we may not always agree, but we always pull the same rope.
